On December 23rd, 2024, Vietnam Interiors Association (VNIA) and Academy of Managers for Construction and Cities have entered into a partnership to provide training in the field of interior design
Training activities are a core element of the long-term strategic plan set forth by the Vietnam Interiors Association Leadership Board. To meet the challenges of the rapidly growing interior design industry, the VNIA is focusing on implementing structured and professional training and development initiatives that are specifically designed to address the unique requirements of its six member groups.
The Academy of Managers for Construction and Cities is a prestigious and professional training institution with modern facilities, equipment, and classrooms. Through collaboration with the Academy, the training activities of the Vietnam Interiors Association (VNIA) will be expanded and enhanced, aiming towards the goal of providing professional certification in the future.
The training courses are offered to members of the Vietnam Interiors Association (VNIA) on a voluntary basis, with content tailored to each specific group. Training and development will be conducted based on practical needs and orientations, aligning with the broader strategies of the construction industry, such as: the use of safe and legal timber; materials that reduce greenhouse gas emissions; net zero; expanding international cooperation and linking with training organizations according to international standards on wood, emission reduction, green cities, and energy saving.
Following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, the Vietnam Interiors Association (VNIA) and the Academy of Managers for Construction and Cities held discussions and agreed upon a plan to implement specific activities in 2025, including organizing training courses and workshops on interior design topics. Initially, in the first quarter of 2025, a training course on design will be organized for designers, architects, and businesses operating in the fields of interior design and design consultancy. This will be one of the key tasks contributing to the overall development of the Vietnamese interior design industry.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Vietnam Interiors Association (VNIA) and the Academy of Managers for Construction and Cities marks an important step forward in improving the quality of training and professional development for the interior design industry. Through this cooperation, members of the Vietnam Interiors Association (VNIA) will have access to modern, professional training programs that meet practical needs and align with the general development trends of the industry.
In particular, the training courses will not only focus on professional skills but also aim at sustainable goals such as safe timber use, greenhouse gas emission reduction, and the development of green cities. This is a solid foundation for the Vietnamese interior design industry to continue its strong development, meeting the increasing demands of the market and contributing to the overall development of the construction and urban development sectors.
