Vietnam Interior Design Association Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Yunus Environment Hub Vietnam for Member Enterprise Training

On June 17, 2024, at the Vietnam Interior Design Association’s office, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Vietnam Interior Design Association and Yunus Environment Hub Vietnam (YEHV), which established and coordinates CIRCO Hub Vietnam.

Attendees included Mr. Lê Trương – Chairman of the Vietnam Interior Design Association; Mr. Lưu Việt Thắng – Standing Committee Member and Chief of the Central Office; Ms. Nguyễn Thị Quỳnh – Executive Committee Member; Ms. Phan Hạnh Tâm – CEO of Yunus Environment Hub Vietnam and Coordinator of CIRCO Hub Vietnam; Mr. Đặng Hoàng Minh – Deputy CEO of Yunus Environment Hub Vietnam, and other CIRCO Hub Vietnam team members.

Vietnam Interior Design Association and Yunus Environment Hub Vietnam Discuss Collaboration

As part of the MoU, the two organizations will collaborate to promote and support member enterprises in developing and implementing creative circular business models, contributing to Vietnam’s sustainable development.

The first training course, co-organized by the Vietnam Interior Design Association and Yunus, took place in Hanoi on June 18, 2024, with participation from eight carefully selected member enterprises. Over three days, the course provided an introduction to circular business models, circular design strategies, systems thinking, and future business model development.

The Vietnam Interior Design Association hopes to continue collaborating with Yunus Environment Hub Vietnam to expand training opportunities for members in the Central and Southern regions in the near future.

On June 28, 2024, the Chairman of Vietnam Interiors Association signed Decision No. 33/2024/QD-HNT to establish the Communication Committee under Vietnam Interiors Association. The Communication Committee comprises the following members: 1. Mr. Vuong Dao Hoang - Member of the Association, Head of the Committee 2. Mr. Le Quoc Hung - Member of the Association, Deputy Committee 3. Ms. Le Thien Hanh Trang - Member 4. Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy - Member 5. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Tuoi – Member 6. Mr. Vũ Thập - Member The Communication Committee is responsible for the following duties: - Advising association leaders on communication activities - Developing a communication plan - Organizing the production of media content - Coordinating with units to organize events, conferences, seminars, discussions, exhibitions, design competitions, social activities, exchanges, and industry introductions - Building a sustainable sponsorship partner network - Managing the association's website and other multimedia channels - Preparing report contents related to communication work for meetings of the Standing Committee and Executive Committee - Performing other tasks as requested by the Association's Board of Directors
