On May 23, 2025, at the Hanoi Creative Center – Hanoi Museum, the launch event for TREND 26+ took place. This is the first trend publication of Vietnam’s interior design industry for the 2026–2030 period, co-published by the Vietnam Interior Design Association and three pioneering brands in materials and interior accessories: Viglacera, Minh Long Wood, and Huy Hoang Locks.

TREND 26+ is a comprehensive publication that compiles and forecasts global and Vietnamese trends in interior design and architecture for the 2026–2030 period. Beyond reflecting domestic movements, TREND 26+ affirms a strong aspiration to shape a distinct Vietnamese identity and confidently set its own trends. The publication extends its role from a professional reference to a creative dialogue bridge between Vietnam and the international community, contributing to honoring local architectural culture and asserting Vietnamese identity within the global trend landscape.

TREND 26+ is a meticulously curated publication that compiles and forecasts interior and architectural trends in both the global and Vietnamese contexts for the 2026–2030 period.

The publication is the result of a 12-month journey of research, editing, and design, with contributions from 45 leading experts — including 13 international specialists from seven Asia-Pacific countries. Spanning 552 pages, TREND 26+ was published in a limited edition of 5,000 copies and presents 31 major trends projected for the 2026–2030 period. These trends are centered around three main pillars: Sustainability & Greening, Personalization & Humanization, and Technological Integration.

At the TREND 26+ book launch event, Mr. Quach Huu Thuan – Deputy General Director of Viglacera Corporation – JSC and Chairman of the Board of Viglacera Tile Trading Joint Stock Company, representing the publication’s publisher, shared: “I believe the time has come for Vietnamese people to confidently create trends of our own. We have a rich cultural foundation that can shape a unique identity for Vietnamese design, and we have a generation of highly talented and perceptive architects and designers. With the launch of TREND 26+, I hope we will have more high-value reference materials capable of building a solid ‘soft infrastructure’ for the industry — thereby contributing to the development of a dynamic and distinctive Vietnamese interior design landscape.”

Meanwhile, Architect Le Truong, President of the Vietnam Interior Association, shared: “Trends are not something that emerge naturally — they are the result of deliberate observation, selection, and creation. In design, a trend is not merely something new — it must reflect identity, societal needs, and the spirit of the times. The formation of Vietnamese design trends requires a connection between expertise, creativity, and cultural context. The launch of such a project promises to become a powerful tool to support all stakeholders within the industry.”

Architect Hoang Thuc Hao, Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Architects, also emphasized: “Vietnam’s interior architecture industry is growing rapidly, yet it still lacks an in-depth, systematic resource to forecast and shape long-term trends. The emergence of TREND 26+ not only marks the launch of a reliable, in-depth project for professionals, but also captures public attention. It sets the stage for a series of initiatives aimed at fostering industry connections, updating trend insights, and nurturing local creativity — all contributing to the development of a dynamic and identity-rich Vietnamese interior design industry.”

Based on aggregated data from WGSN (World Global Style Network) — a trusted international trend forecasting partner — combined with insights from leading global exhibitions and the in-depth perspectives of 45 experts, TREND 26+ identifies global issues, key objectives, and overall lifestyle shifts, from which it forecasts interior design trends worldwide, with a particular focus on Vietnam for the 2026–2030 period.

TREND 26+ is professionally endorsed by the Vietnam Interior Design Association and the Vietnam Association of Architects, and supported by pioneering brands in materials and design. The publication also brings together a network of international experts from Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, and more — creating a creative ecosystem that connects Vietnam with the region and the world.

TREND 26+ attracted widespread interest from numerous guests at the event

TREND 26+ is not just a publication; it is an invitation to collectively create a Vietnamese identity within modern living spaces. It embodies the aspiration for Vietnamese people not only to keep up with trends but also to create their own.

The TREND 26+ publication is scheduled for official release on June 6, 2025, with a print run of 5,000 copies.
