    Vietnam Interior Design Association Attends Asia Design Cooperation Summit Forum 2024

    From May 10 to 13, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Lý Tuấn Trường, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Interior Design Association, participated in the Asia Design Cooperation Summit Forum 2024. The event aimed to foster exchanges in the Asian design industry, strengthen collaboration in interior design, and promote regional development.

    As part of the program, the Vice Chairman attended the opening ceremony of the 14th Yunnan International Exhibition on Architectural and Interior Decoration Materials, participated in the board meeting of the Asia-Pacific Space Designers Association (APSDA), and attended the 2024 Yunnan Interior Design Awards Ceremony.

    Additionally, the leadership of the Vietnam Interior Design Association delivered a speech at the Asia Design Cooperation Summit Forum 2024, sharing insights about the association’s activities with representatives from ten design associations across various countries, including:

    • Singapore Interior Design Association (SIDS);
    • Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers (MIID);
    • Thai Interior Designers’ Association (TIDA);
    • Philippine Institute of Interior Designers (PIID);
    • Indian Institute of Interior Designers (IIID);
    • Interior Designers Association Nepal (IDEA Nepal);
    • Hong Kong Interior Design Association (HKIDA);
    • Union of International Design of Macao (UIDM);
    • Chinese Society of Interior Designers (Taiwan) (CSID);
    • Yunnan Interior Design Industry Association (YNID).

    At the forum, the Asia-Pacific Space Designers Association (APSDA) officially granted membership certification to the Vietnam Interior Design Association.

    The APSDA Chairman praised the participation and contributions of the Vietnam Interior Design Association, emphasizing the importance of cooperation, exchange, and knowledge sharing between associations and countries. He expressed a desire to deepen collaboration with Vietnamese partners to enhance the support for interior design professionals.

    Becoming an official member of the Asia-Pacific Space Designers Association is a crucial milestone for the Vietnam Interior Design Association, opening new opportunities and elevating its influence and position within the region and internationally.

    On June 28, 2024, the Chairman of Vietnam Interiors Association signed Decision No. 33/2024/QD-HNT to establish the Communication Committee under Vietnam Interiors Association. The Communication Committee comprises the following members: 1. Mr. Vuong Dao Hoang - Member of the Association, Head of the Committee 2. Mr. Le Quoc Hung - Member of the Association, Deputy Committee 3. Ms. Le Thien Hanh Trang - Member 4. Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy - Member 5. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Tuoi – Member 6. Mr. Vũ Thập - Member The Communication Committee is responsible for the following duties: - Advising association leaders on communication activities - Developing a communication plan - Organizing the production of media content - Coordinating with units to organize events, conferences, seminars, discussions, exhibitions, design competitions, social activities, exchanges, and industry introductions - Building a sustainable sponsorship partner network - Managing the association's website and other multimedia channels - Preparing report contents related to communication work for meetings of the Standing Committee and Executive Committee - Performing other tasks as requested by the Association's Board of Directors
