    The Vietnam Interior Design Association participated in discussions at the Asia-Pacific Design Conference

    On March 20, 2024, for the first time at CIFF, the “First Roundtable Discussion” took place at the Asia Pacific Design Conference 2024, with the theme “The Future of Design: Artificial Intelligence and Emotions through Design”

    The overall theme of CIFF 2024 is “Design Trends, Global Trade, and Comprehensive Supply Chains.” This is an ever-evolving trade fair event that plays a crucial role in the global interior design industry, contributing to the advancement of design and innovation, as well as promoting international and regional trade.

    Along with the Presidents of nine design associations in the region, including the Singapore Interior Design Society (SIDS), the Thai Interior Design Association (TIDA), the Guangdong Art and Decoration Association (GAAD), the China Interior Design Association (CSID), the Indonesian Interior Design Association (HDII), the Hong Kong Interior Design Association (HKIDA), the Japanese Interior Design Association (JID), the Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers (MIID), and the Philippine Institute of Interior Designers (PIID), Architect Le Truong, President of the Vietnam Interior Design Association, participated in sessions and activities within the conference program from March 19 to March 21, 2024.

    Architect Le Truong – President of the Vietnam Interior Design Association – delivered a speech on “The Current State of the Vietnamese Interior Design Industry in the Last 3 Years” and engaged in direct discussions and knowledge sharing with the Presidents of SIDS, MIID, CSID, and JID.

    The Asia-Pacific Design Conference opens up many opportunities for collaboration among countries in the Asia-Pacific region in the fields of architecture and interior design, including the Vietnamese interior design industry.

    On June 28, 2024, the Chairman of Vietnam Interiors Association signed Decision No. 33/2024/QD-HNT to establish the Communication Committee under Vietnam Interiors Association. The Communication Committee comprises the following members: 1. Mr. Vuong Dao Hoang - Member of the Association, Head of the Committee 2. Mr. Le Quoc Hung - Member of the Association, Deputy Committee 3. Ms. Le Thien Hanh Trang - Member 4. Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy - Member 5. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Tuoi – Member 6. Mr. Vũ Thập - Member The Communication Committee is responsible for the following duties: - Advising association leaders on communication activities - Developing a communication plan - Organizing the production of media content - Coordinating with units to organize events, conferences, seminars, discussions, exhibitions, design competitions, social activities, exchanges, and industry introductions - Building a sustainable sponsorship partner network - Managing the association's website and other multimedia channels - Preparing report contents related to communication work for meetings of the Standing Committee and Executive Committee - Performing other tasks as requested by the Association's Board of Directors
